About Gwen's Cake Decorating

It all began back in 1978, from an interest in making my children's special birthday cakes. I was soon asked by family and friends alike to make wedding cakes, birthday cakes, baptism cakes, first communion cakes, bridal shower cakes, baby shower cakes and other special occasion cakes. Before long came my dream... a successful home-based cake decorating business -- Gwen's Cake Decorating & Etc.

At Gwen's, we specialize in wedding cakes, shower cakes, birthday cakes, all occasion cakes, cookie cakes, cupcakes, cookies, pies, pastries, and desserts for wedding receptions. Our extensive training includes baking, decorating and pastry classes, with a strong emphasis on wedding cake design. We are committed to making beautiful, high quality cakes and pastries that exceed expectations.

Our cakes have been featured in publications such as "The Mailbox News," "The American Cake Decorating Magazine," and our wedding cakes have been featured in "The Knot." We are members of the Women's Business Owners of Southeast Michigan, The Saline Chamber of Commerce and Your Wedding Team.
